Origin of Versova Welfare Association
In order to give to the present generation a fair idea of the origin of the Association and the VWA High School, we may repeat here that the Association was formed on 24th July 1960 and after completion of all the formalities, VWA High School was started on 11th June 1962, a one-class school with 19 students on the roll.
Educational Initiatives
Free education to the needy children, donation of books etc.
Environmental Initiatives
Beach cleaning, social awarness for cleaniness and hygiene.
Social Initiatives
Towards dignified living project by keeping fridges stock up with food for the needy, distribution of free medicines and clothes etc.
